Ted & Sons Auto Body was established in 1968 and continues to be family owned and operated.
Our first shop was only 1 block away from our original location.
At this location, our shop was a combination where both body and mechanical work was performed.
In 1970, Ted & Sons moved to its current location at 111 Ridley Avenue in Folsom, PA.
Nearly thirty years ago, we directed our total focus to collision repair.
Once this shift to a primary focus in body work was founded, another small body shop was constructed on the same property.
The larger, original building houses the frame machine, spray booth, mixing room, and computerized four-wheel alignment rack.
Our frame machine is a state of the art, laser-operated system for straightening frames. With the incredible laser accuracy of the machine, we know the exact dimensions of the frame in order to restore the car to the original specifications.
This same building is also home to our heated spray booth where all of the priming and painting is done.
Just outside of the booth is a mixing machine in which we do all of our paint mixing. We use top-quality paints and all of the tints and other products can be mixed at the same time to deter the drying up of paint.
We also mix the paint ourselves to provide the exact color match for your car or truck.
Also in the large building, we have a computerized four-wheel alignment rack and we perform state inspections if it is that time of year again.
We are also an Enhanced Vehicle Safety Inspection Station for the greater Philadelphia area.
Ted & Sons Auto Body is an in-house shop. We do all of the repairs ourselves, including glasswork. All repairs to the interior upholstery, such as rips or cuts, are sent out to a first class upholstery shop in order to restore it in top-quality condition.
Ted & Sons is also a used car business.
Here at Ted & Sons, we have a shop policy of 100% customer satisfaction. We work well with the customers and keep them involved in every step of the repair of their car or truck.
There is a warranty on all repairs that will be discussed with you depending on the type of repair rendered.

If you need a rental car, we can arrange a rental service for you.
We can also have your vehicle towed to the shop if it is not in a driveable condition.
Our hours are 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. We are open on Saturday by appointment or prior contact only.
